AnonymousI’ve been getting some flack for my video about the Cyber-bullying situation, and I guess about how I didn’t publically bash The Mittani for what he did. My answer to that is simply that I do not feel it’s necessary, and that the solution to the problem isn’t to explain how horrible the Mittani is, but to ensure people don’t cyber-bully in general. Those who just hate on him aren’t seeing the bigger picture. This isn’t a one-time incident. Any hate brought to me - is seriously odd if you consider yourself a “person who doesn’t support cyber bullying”
Today I got this mail in my in box, that caught my attention.
- “I rarely write messages to people who make videos. You are entitled to your own opinion. I feel you made a deplorable video supporting mittami and his actions. The person IS being persecuted in the game because of alex’s orders. Right now people are putting bounties on him and ganking him constantly. Maybe the guy is stable now, but 6 months from now when he’s not on his meds and sees all the nasty stuff EVERYONE (and I include your video in that) has said about him, maybe he will do something bad to himself.Your indifference to another humans life is beneath contempt. If you ever have children I’ll wager your opinion will change.I’m unsubscribing you.I’m blocking you.You are truly an evil person.”
I’ve responded to the User who msged me - Although if I am blocked he may not get it.
- “I’m sorry you feel this way. I’d like to clarify to you that I am in no way supporting the Mittani for what happened. I don’t feel the need to bash mittani when I can better spend my time talking about Cyber-bullying as an issue and the difference between reality and in-game in eve online. I’m not a hypocrite.
- Another thing I’d like to mention, is that I have been in contact with the victim. He really enjoyed my video.
- Attacking me, for what I’ve said makes me question your ability to comprehend a larger picture. Responses should be made with the solution in mind - not with rage or revenge.
- I am not Evil. But I don’t need your approval to know that.

Anyway, long story short. People are crazy. If you want to be taken seriously be a considerate person, and have a logical reasonable stance on a situation. If you go around calling people names and being a general douche - it kind of goes in the face of the message.
I personally, am really against being mean in general, whether it’s in game or out but that doesn’t mean that if you’re a dick to me I’m going to tolerate it. There’s a difference from being nice, and being fake. I like to try to stick to polite.
If your views differ from mine, don’t be a dick about it. Tell me your opinion - open up a dialogue. Condemning someone for thinking differently than you do, is a waste of your time.
